I have been a homeowner in the East Mountains for 34 years and have a passion for maintaining our 10 acres. I started a “fire pruning” project in 2021 cleaning out dead and many years of snow damage on the many juniper and pinion trees. The first year I hauled at least a dozen 18-foot trailer loads to the transfer station. Looking for a better option, year-2 I filled 2 40-yard roll offs that saved some trips but was still a lot of work. Looking still to save time and labor the third year I was considering a chipper for my tractor when I happened to see the advertisement for Woody’s forestry mulching. After some research and discussion with Woody, I decided to give it a try. In 2023 and 2024 I completed the sections I was working on that year by February with +/- 80 yards of brush both years. I had consolidated piles in clearings although it was not necessary it did save time and make cleaning up of the processed material easier. Both years Woody arrived on time and completed the chipping / shredding within the estimated time. I wish I had discovered this service sooner and have been extremely pleased. The equipment is heavy but Woody is very consciences and skilled so impact on my property was minimal although I recommend it being as dry as possible. The processed material is a combination of “chipped” and “shredded” and not as fine as “conventional” chipping but perfect for using as cover for baren areas and erosion control. I highly recommend his service and will never haul another pile from my property again.

In the past few months I have been very pleased with Woody in clearing dead piñon on my property.

He is always prompt, works hard, always has the needed tools for the job at hand, and is always pleasant. That he has the knowledge and experience required is readily obvious.
